Welcome to the World Tate William Christopher!
He is just an itty bitty boy. Only five minute of life so far!

Tate William Christopher entered the world on Saturday night, May 27th at 11:31 p.m. at 9 pounds, 11 ounces. He came out swinging a tennis racket with lots of alert energy. The name Tate is an Old Norwegian name (it means joyful and cheerful) and the name William is after both of his Grandfathers.

My water broke early Saturday morning and we rushed off to the hospital excited, terrified and relieved to finally meet our baby boy. My labor was a little slow going but soon was pretty unbearable (after all – he was 9 pounds!). Lots of thanks to a fabulous anesthesiologist who quickly became my best friend. I was rested and in very little pain when it was time to help the little guy enter the world. John was a fabulous coach – he was standing up and pacing, cheering and literally pushing with me (He had his tennis racket with him to catch Tate as he came out). Tate William Christopher entered the world at 11:31 pm at 9 pounds, 20 inches to lots of tears, cheers and love. 9 POUNDS – can you believe it? It still cannot get over it. I feel like I gave birth to a kindergartener!
