How many licks does it take to get to the bottom of a Tootsie Pop?

Tate has officially been in this world for 1/2 a year. I absolutely cannot believe it. He is so much fun right now! He turned 6 months on Monday and today (Tuesday) I spotted a tooth (bottom right – for those of you interested in details) and he said MaMa. I about cried! I don’t know that he had any idea what he was saying but it was loud and clear. Heehee – John was jealous! We also enjoyed our first Thanksgiving together as a family. Thanksgiving was spent at his Grandmother and Grandfathers home (Johns parents) and he got to try his first solid food. I actually don’t know how you can call it solid when it is that mushy but nevertheless, he ate some Sweet Potatoes and seemed to really enjoy them. His Grandmother had the quick slide of the spoon with just the right amount and he ate up a few yummy bites. fun fun! soooooooBIG! He also gave Christi his first wave from the car on Thanksgiving day and is a real pro at sitting up. He can sit and play with his toys in his room. sooooooBIG! That always gets a belly big laugh. Tate thought he could get in a quick cat nap before the big night. I guess too many roaring rehearsals wears out a little lion. We had just dressed him up in his Lion suit and he fell dead asleep on his changing table.
