This marks the close of a big celebration week. We sang to Tate this morning at Maple Cottage Retreat. Tate was ready with boundless energy and gusto. He played, ate and sang like a seasoned 2 year old. Whew! This is going to be an interesting 6 months – I think Tate is going to be calling the shots from now on…

Tate’s first real drawing. He jumped up after dinner and drew the sun. As you can see he felt terribly inspired and didnt even take the time to clean up! ahhh…inspiration!

Mothers Day at the park

We spent the evening at the Yacht Club to celebrate Grandpa’s 70th Birthday. Tate was dressed in his finest Commodore attire!

(pepper) and I stayed up half the night working to make our boys flower hats over cups of much needed coffee (much more fun than studying for an exam) and were up early to dress up for the big day. We arrived at Maple Cottage Retreat to see all of the other little flowers and their Moms. Lisa had strung beautiful silks in the garden that were so lovely and really made it festive. We walked over to the nearby preschool to send happy flower wishes and give the children each a flower. We then arrived back for a wonderful flower feast. What fun! Lisa McCarthy is just so amazingly talented in putting this all together. What a gift! We feel so luck to be a part of it all. We just glowed a happy flower glow all day!
